Custom Fit - Something Special

At Maritime Sewing Center, we believe that you should have the option to choose specialty items to wear. We offer custom design personally directed by you in choosing the fabrics, the colors and designs creating a one-of-a-kind piece that you want ....the client. Bridal, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, costumes, home decor or something just crazy that you want to try on for size.

Workshops at Maritime Sewing Academy

Over the coming months workshops will be scheduled to learn new skillsets and/or upgrade your sewing skills. Workshops are important! Sharing knowledge, collaboration and skill development in a structured and interactive environment to learn, exchange ideas, and solve problems and have fun!

Maritime Sewing Center Alteration Guide

Our Alteration Guide provides pricing for many common services. Every garment is unique, and final pricing depends on fabric, construction, number of layers, and complexity. A quote will always be priced before work begins.

Formal Wear
Formalwear, bridal gowns, multi-layered garments, beading, lace, horsehair braid, and reconstruction work are quoted individually.

POLICIES
* A written quote will be provided and approved before alterations or design work begins.
* Rush Service subject to availability
* Fittings may be required for some alterations.
* Customers are required to bring the shoes and undergarments they intend to wear with the formal garments.
* A deposit may be required on projects over $100.00
* All garments are to be clean prior to alterations.
* Payment due upon pickup
